Yes, they match up to 5%.
Obviously, if we drop our contrib to 1% (the lowest we can do and still stay in the plan, I think) they'll drop thier matching to 1%.
Say, we'll not contribute a total of $2025 over the 9 months, to the 401.
Of course, I know that over 40 years, that's a huge buttload more than the interest we'll save on the ccard.
The question is: Since we are in our mid 20's can we afford 2k not in there, to release $175 a month into our general cash flow.
Would that 175 make an important difference to us right now? Yes, it would.
