We had chicken tonight. Our cat came in begging for some, after we had finished the cat some left overs. All of a sudden I see her looking weirdly and putting her paw near her mouth, then trying both paws. I was a little worried. Eventually she spat out an almost spherical bone. I hear that cats can have trouble with the chicken bone shards. Our vet told us it's better for her teeth to feed her chicken occasionly though.
Our cat doesn't like having the medications againts flees and worms put on her back. When she smells the tube being opened she struggles and tries to run away. My auntie (she's a vet) told us to put her on a place where she usually isn't aloud and apply the medication there. So we covered the dinner table with a cloth and lifted her up there. She was rather bewildered. That's when we put the medication on her. Afterwards she was suspicious of us when she was around the table for a couple of days. I wonder if it'll work next time. As for your cat, maybe you could ask at the vet if they have any advice?
