The demo has a single player mode with bots, doesn't the full version have one?
Online play is fun but it would be nice to have some sort of way to test abilities and group players as such. One thing that always turned me off to playing Quake 3: Arena was that I'd get railed so damn fast. Maybe if I get this early I can be on a more level playing field.
