On a related note, I horribly dislike dogs anyway. Theres a dog that one of my housemates (okay, landlord) owns, that oh my god, you could cut the price for that dog by three quarters. That is a problem with your landlord, not so much the dog. Inform your landlord that he/she must discipline the dog more. Think of it this way, you would say something if he/she had a kid instead of a dog, and that kid knocked over your stereo.
