I have a friend who lived in Sandcreek GA for about 10 years. When she moved there, she and her husband were informed that they were expected to buy a gun if they didn't have one already, and if there was a break-in they should still call the police.

But they expected everything to be taken care of when the police arrived.

She noted that no one ever had to lock up anything there...
