dry my tears as i drown
on these chaotic thoughts
tear my heart from its chasm
and laugh as it rots
comfort me as i sink
into this comatose state
mourn for me as i suffer
the ignorance of hate
i wish you could understand
just how I feel and why
then perhaps you would tell me
why my life is not a lie
precious moments with you
are those of pure hell
my heart says that I love you

but in this state i realize
that can never be so
