This decision is not compatible with capitalist ethics, but I have a feeling that a lot of people will mistakenly believe that it is. I honestly don't see how anybody could justify eminent domain except in cases where the property was somehow being used to violate the rights of others, or maybe - and this is a
big maybe - for military-related national security emergencies.
