A lucid dream is a dream where you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming while in the dream. Sometimes you are even able to control your dream around you. A lot of people fly in their dreams. This ability seems to come naturally to some people, while others need to work on it in order to be able to have some control.
ARTelevision had some stuff about this in his journal before, I'm not sure what he's got now. If you're interested, there are some places online that give you some stuff to work on, I don't have the links though. What I've heard though is that if you think about dreaming as you fall asleep, you're more likely to remember your dreams, and if you ask yourself "Is this a dream?" throughout the day, you are more likely to ask that in a dream, and then realize that you are dreaming, and have a lucid dream. There's also something about a reality check, but I don't remember that too well... it's something about looking at your watch, then looking at it again a moment later. If it does something wierd, then it's probably a dream. This is a habit I think you need to get used to doing during your days, so you'll do it without really thinking during your sleep. I think I got most of that stuff just about right... hopefully if I made any mistakes someone who knows more about this than me will correct them...
