Sound, sound, sound, sound...I'm silenceophobic. It HURTS to have quiet - there needs to be something in the background. Music is preferred, but TV doesn't hurt. In fact, I need music or other noise in order to go to sleep. More than that, if it gets too quiet during the evening, then I'll wake up. Silence is too painful for me.
