no need to keep your mouth shut, but it is just full membership is based on your contributions to the board as a whole, not based on the amount of time you have had your account. Just look around the boards for a while, contribute with your thoughts on items that hold your interest..
the requirements for the different forums you are asking about are pretty low, so it doesn't take too long to gain access to those parts, but just like the others have said, I noticed once you gain access it really doesn't matter anymore and you will find that there exists much more in other areas.
