Why don't you just 'pop-in' when the friend is there one day and see. If you're the bf, I'm sure an occasional pop-in wouldn't be unwarranted.
Also, if you're suspecting her, then going behind her back to find out an MVR is pretty sneaky, don't you think? What if it turns out that it really is a friend. There are some trust issues that you and her need to figure out.
