Best Bookmarks that you can't live without...

Unfortunately we can't have every single piece of knowledge that we need on Tilted, but we can bring that information and share it here. Over the past 5 years, I've accumulated 200 plus bookmarks, so, I figure it's time to share and add your bookmarks, this is some of the cream of the crop that I've collected.

Software stuff
housecall.trendmicro.com - online virus scan
security.symantec.com - Another scanner, remember to use more than 1 scanner folks
security.kolla.de - home of spybot
www.download.com - for all my shareware utilities, etc. if you don't like that... try.... www.lockergnome.com or www.majorgeeks.com
www.mdgx.com - Axcel's windows tweaks, for those not afraid of registry hacks.
www.bootdisk.com - Always need this site when I'm talking to those who don't want to pay me to do it my way.
www.sfsu.edu/~helpdesk/backup/ - How to backup stuff - for those just getting into computers.

Media Stuff
www.icebergradio.com - my favorite online streaming music site
www.imdb.com - For those "Who was that actor?" moments while DVD is paused
www.fark.com - for all the fringe news
www.slashdot.org - hourly, must visit hourly...
www.theregister.co.uk - a little more indepth IT industry news collection

Outside the abode stuff
www.theweathernetwork.com - As a flatlander I have to check the weather before heading out
www.worldtimeserver.com - other time zone and free system clock update utility that queries out official time servers

Fun stuff
www.userfriendly.org - see a geek theme developing here?
http://minievil.eviloverlord.com/lists/overlord.html - Having a bad day at work? The top things to do when you become an evil overlord. I still like #218 "I will not pick up a glowing ancient artifact and shout "Its power is now mine!!!" Instead I will grab some tongs, transfer it to a hazardous materials container, and transport it back to my lab for study."

Computer Hardware Stuff
www.howstuffworks.com - I'm always finding interesting things on this site.
www.computerhope.com - Another site to show those stubborn DIY'ers... heh, like myself
www.pcguide.com - Fantastic resource for students learning computer hardware
www.driverguide.com - the original username and password that they handed out to everyone when they first went online still works.

There's my addition, what's yours?
