And how likely do we think it is that even if the proposal were accepted in committee, and passed by congress (unlikely, given the stance of the true majority, and by true majority I mean moderate democrats and republicans), that 3/4 of the state houses would ratify within 7 years?
Hell, our statehouse had to be strong-armed into making the penalty for spousal rape equal that of any other form of rape. They can't agree on the price of a donut.
This is so unlikely as to be undeserving of comment, except for the civics lesson it conveys.
