drawbacks: I think I read somewhere that it reduces B vitamins in your body, which is GOOD for you (and I think good for stabilizing your moods.. no wonder I'm so moody..). It may not work as effectively for women who smoke and/or are obese. I think i've heard that it decreases libido? But I'm not sure if that's true, and certainly untrue for myself!
benefits: helps your skin and reduces acne. decreases risks of ovarian cancer.
That's about all I know before I have to look things up. :P
