if your routine is truly as discipline as you say... i think the obvious choice is to continue without drastic medical procedure.
an added 3-4 months to lose the fat the procedure would have taken away is really a drop in the bucket of life. you'll feel better about weightloss, have that additional time to solidify your new lifestyle, will have saved money on medical bills and won't have exposed yourself to a potentially harmful situation.
if you're already on the right track, the choice seems obvious to me...
this may be more appropriate on another board.
