I don't know if anyone is interested in the baseball draft, but it is today. As of now, the first round is complete (less than 1 hour). My DBacks had the top pick and they took Justin Upton, a HS SS. I'm very excited about this. Add to that the fact that the DBacks signed Stephen Drew last week and we now have some amazing depth at a premium defensive position. Most scouts see them changing positions (Drew to 2B, Upton to CF) but for now, the team will leave them where they are and let the position battle sort itself out.

The Drew signing is great, he was by far the most talented player in last year's draft and should have gone #1 but since he's a Boras client, he slid all the way to #13.

Upton has a brother, BJ, who is in the Devil Rays system. He was taken #2 a couple years back. This makes them the highest drafted siblings ever.
