I haven't used a wristease, but I do have a gel-padded support that runs the length of my keyboard and mouse at work. The gel cushions my wrists and helps with them getting tired or developing pressure points. I don't have this problem at home, but at work I will sometimes spend most of the day on the computer. If wristease is based around having a portable gel support for that wrist, then it might do some good. As a caveat, I will add that I have never had carpal tunnel syndrome, so I can't comment on that.
