Classic mini fans always bash the new one, but they are really nice cars.
Diverson:
Gullwing: Straight up (Mercedes-Benz 300SL, DMC)
Lamborghini/scissor doors: Straight forward (Lamborghini Diablo). If you have a car with a 'Lamo door kit' on it, the doors will open normally a few degrees first before swinging forward/up to allow them to clear the frame, and that's what the MINI there does.
Then there's the
Koenigsegg CC8S/CC8R/whatever, who's doors swing up and shift outward on some kind of wierd helical path. And the
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Pretty self explanitory from the picture.
