Things that annoy me are usually things that I should pay attention to most (since the annoyance comes from buttons getting pushed that I preferred to ignore). Yes, sometimes even love can be annoying... since it's a heck of a lot harder to respond to (as you pointed out) than just calling someone names and having an incoherent conversation.
