Fissures are often a result of yeast infection. I posted a thread last March (can't be bothered to find it now, but you can look for "fissures" if you want) when I had the same problem. Sex hurt and I had several "paper-cut"-like tears down there (fissures). Raeanna helped me out w/this one, so let's see if she'll post here.
