I invested a bunch of money in a company's stock. It was a small company with great fundamentals. It was a local company. Not only was a making a smart investment, I was helping the local guys. I felt good.
The CEO was a thief. He cooked the books. He went to jail, but that didn't help me any. My stock became worthless. Five goddamn thousand fucking dollars.
