I'll echo fulltilt. This guy is simply a troller who's gotten way more attention than he deserves.
As someone who has been interviewed on television, I can tell you that all of the people involved did their jobs, or at least tried to.
The number one rule of being interviewed is to say what you wanted to say, regardless of what question is asked. That's what Crook was trying to do. Ever seen a politician pound the dais and yell, "Taxes are too high! The government is too wasteful!"
Hannity is far too experienced to fall for that, and kept cutting him off. Colmes, equally experienced (and aware that if he agreed with Crook, that there would be an outcry for him to be booted from the show) did the same.
The other person involved (me) just felt unclean after watching it. It was the same feeling I get after watching some scripted "reality" show like "Elimidate." Not that I watch them regularly.
We all should watch televised, or radio interviews with an eye (ear?) toward whether or not the interviewee answers the question, or just says whatever message he wants to get out. (Or NOT watch them, as I've decided. Arguing politics is pretty pointless.)
In this case, it isn't even the message-Crook just wants to be famous.
I think it's helping him sell shit on ebay, though. Some people will fall for anything.
