I used to own a 944 turbo and now i drive a 968. The cost of parts is a bit more then most cars but they can be very reliable. Just make sure you get a pre-purchase inspection at a specialized porsche shop. One of the most fun cars i've ever driven, might not be the fastest but it is a great car. There are some very active forums for these cars so make sure you check around.
