Yes, dredg are excellent. I do prefer El Cielo over Catch Without Arms (although I haven't heard it in its entirety yet), but they're definitly a solid band.
Two bands that you would probably enjoy if you like dredg are Porcupine Tree and Riverside. Both very, very good bands, especially Porcupine Tree.
