Yes, they have that seafood roadshow every other week. I was able to get whole salmon for dirt cheap. You have to fillet it yourself but it's worth it.
Right now, stores are getting the first catch of the season. Wait a few weeks and the prices will be down well below $10/lb (to more like 6-7/lb).
