I was actually just going to post a journal entry about this.
It's chilling to read the words of somebody who has recently died - especially when they clearly had no idea what was going to happen. I remember the day of the Columbine shooting, somebody sent me the AOL screenname of one of the two guys - and it was just chilling. There's something about the internet and its immediacy that really brings home how our lives can be changed irrevocably in less than an instant.
All the comments on the Xanga page are really what got to me.
