1. The Nation's Capitol... during the Tulip Festival. Be sure to get a bike and ride the paths along the canal
2. Toronto. Visit the city with someone who actually lives there and can take you to places like Baldwin Street on a hot summer night for good food, or can take you for a long afternoon stroll along the boardwalk and through the Beaches, or knows where to take you for a good dinner and a night of clubbing... Better yet, Kensington Market on a Saturday morning.
3. Algonquin Park. Whether you are going for a hike or a long canoe trip... the best time is in the fall (in this case late August or early September) just before it gets too cold and there are no bugs.
4. Lake Louise. Touristy to be sure but they go there for a reason.
5. Montreal. The cafe lifestyle, the great bagels and mouth watering smoked meat... The new and the old areas... The music and the festivals.
Bonus
6. Regina!!!! Not only to you get to say Regina but you get to say you've been there...
