second game i got for the ps2 was Amplitude.
it's the sequel to Frequency(a game i never played). it's a simple puzzle(arcade) game where you drive a spaceship in a tunnel. in the tunnel, theres a bunch of tracks with nodes on them. you must shoot the nodes at the right time to activate the track. once you activate the track, you move on to the next one. simple? now the tracks are music tracks.. . so you get a drum, vocal, guitar, bass, etc... tracks and you play to a specific song. so the level will last about 4min. depending on the dif.level, you'll get more nods on each tracks. if you miss a nod, you loose that sequence and you must change tracks or wait for the sequence to end before starting again... once you beat a few levs, you get powerups on the tracks taht do a bunch of stuff like 2x, freestyle, etc.. theres more to it but thats the basics of it... i musta played that game for 10hrs strait when i got it!! it's the best arcade/puzzle game i played in my life. (altough some of you might not like it... it does get repetitive)
Amplitude(ps2)
graphics: 9 (they're as nice as can be for a puzzle game!)
replayability: 10 (it's as addictive as tetris)
sounds: 10 (it's based on music.. and it's awesome music)
total: 9.7 out 10
