Congratulations! I've just acheived a similar goal. Remember the practical benefits and not just the vanity. Your back will feel much better in general, without the extra weight on your midsection, and evidently, you've already recognized the cardio benefits.
As for the weighing the same, it's probably because you're gaining muscle too, and remember that muscle weighs more than fat.
