As much as I dislike Harper the closest I would see him coming to triggering seperatism is his desire to weaken Federalism by shifting more power to the provinces... That has more to do with a fundamental shift of power than seperatism... if any thing, that should shut up the seperatists because they would get what they want... wihtout leaving.

The seperatists already get what they want without leaving. The problem is they just want all the cake and to eat it too. I wonder what would happen if everyone just ignored them. Think they'd go away?
/threadjack/ People always comment on abolishing the senate. Isn't it unconstitutional to have a seperarist party representing themselves in the Commons? Treason no? Should be a law against that.
