Evidently I "succumbed to the trend"
, as I have 8 including my stretched ears. Oh well.
My mom gave me alot of shit about my labret too when she first saw it. I was 21 or 22 at the time, and she would not let it go for weeks. "It looks terrible. Why would you do that to yourself? Etc..."
Eventually she decided that I was old enough to do it, not living with her, paid for it myself, and (most importantly) it is my body, so she finally let it go.
Obviously I'm not scared of anyone with piercings. It is actually a conversation starter sometimes.
