You really need to uninstall and delete all traces of Kazaa before you install K++. I think that this will probably sort your shared folder issues as well. As far as a step-by-step uninstall goes, unless you are comfortable editing the registry to not only remove the program but also it's Control Panel entry - I'd be a little wary.
