In Toronto it would have to be Marche. I just love the idea of having a grocery store atmosphere where you get to view and inspect the food, and having the chef in their section cook it up right in front of you... Ahhh I love the mussels and clams there.
Plus the Hockey Hall of Fame is just right downstairs!!!
In Newport, Oregon I remember the Chowder Bowl. One of the best clam chowders and fish sandwiches I've ever had!
And here in my area of Vancouver, Hapa Izakaya. It's a fusion Japanese tapa bar with some of the tastiest dishes I've ever had. Plus all the waitresses are very attractive.
