wait until you get to the professional tracks
like Race Driver 2 but more so, one bump with another car, one decent hit in a wall and its race over as you watch your wheel fly away.
I especially like the varied tracks and options of driving i.e. racetrack, downhill (watch your brakes and tires melt on these ones, upgrade asap), even dirt.
