The Lion King.
I had the extremely odd sensation of crying at a "sad" part, knowing full well that I was being manipulated, because I really didn't care about the characters at all. I almost felt like they were using subliminals or something to force emotions into me. I have no problem with tears when they make sense, but this was pure manipulation.
And Gilda, that's a very interesting point. I haven't seen Sideways, but that aspect would piss me off as well if I were to see it.
