In my mind, very thin=skinny, and yes I think those both apply to me.
Plug my height and weight into a BMI calculator, it it tells me I'm underweight. Look at
this weight chart and plot 5'7" 110. It's well into the blue section. Look at the chart
optimized for sex. I'm about 8 stone, or a little less. I'm the ideal weight of a woman 5'1" tall. That makes me feel skinny.
Look at sizing charts for Misses sizes, and I come in at too small for the xtra small sizes. I tried looking for a chart that had my size listed, but couldn't find any online.
This one is one of the few that goes down to a 2, and I'm still too small in the bust, waist, and hips. That makes me feel skinny.
I'm thin to very thin. When I want to donate blood last week I was rejected due to my wieght; there's a minimum weight requirement of 110 lbs, and I weighed in at 107. That makes me feel skinny.
Again, no judgements about those who are saying they don't find skinny attractive; taste is taste, and need not be defended. I, myself find curvy more attractive.
