abaya - You're right. I don't condone people being grossly overweight in most situations, because besides being unattractive to the majority (although it seems to be much more acceptable in men than women, sadly) it's an unhealthy way to live life and almost always a result of lifestyle. I don't buy this 'accept yourself' crap when a person's physical condition is a result of sendentary lifestyle and an apathetic view on personal health.
But beyond that, yeah there are people who are naturally thin (such as yourself) and others who are a bit thicker and I think that's as it should be. I'm 6' tall and have never in my life weighed more than 160 lbs. I used to hate being so thin, but I've come to accept it as part of who I am, which is admittedly helped by my grandfather, a man I admire quite a bit, recently revealed to me that he took the job he held for most of his life at GM after being turned down for police service because no matter what he did he couldn't meet the minimum weight requirement of 150 lbs. I've occasionally had girls tell me that I'm not attractive because I'm too thin, but plenty over the years seem to have found me attractive enough.
So yeah, the point is that there are different types out there and there ought to be variety in the world. As long as a person is happy and healthy I don't see a problem with it. I personally as stated prefer a girl with some curves to her, but obviously there are plenty of people who prefer a more slender girl.
