In hopes of covering one or both parts of this challenge, this is my attempt.
Music and poetry go hand in hand,
I still cannot begin to understand,
How those that are Deaf at birth,
show no interest in music's worth.
Many who're Deaf can read and write,
and see poetic words within their sight,
why they pay no attention to the flow,
no sign of recognition important to show.
You can't miss something never been had,
this truth is something I find to be so sad,
to me the message is forever crystal clear,
I'd long for beautiful sounds if I couldn't hear.
