so we have tan(165o)
=tan(135o + 30o)

tan(a + b) = (tan(a) + tan(b))/(1 - tan(a)tan(b))

=(tan(135o) + tan(30o)) / (1 - tan(135o)tan(30o))

tan(135o) = -1
tan(30o) = 31/2 / 3

=(-1 + 31/2/3)/(1 - (-1)(31/2/3))
=(-1 + 31/2/3)/(1 + 31/2/3)
=(-3 + 31/2)/(3 + 31/2)
=(-3 + 31/2)(3 - 31/2) / (3 + 31/2)(3 - 31/2)

= 31/2 - 2
