Well, I rented Tekken 5 the other night and DAMN. Excellent as hell game. The graphics are some of the absolute best there are for the PS2.
And I retract my previous reply: The "Arcade Archive" includes Tekken 1, 2, AND 3. Tekken 4 and Tekken Tag sold separately.
The few days I had to play T5 I was so blown away, I was really tempted to pick up the Ultimate Collectors Edition Tekken 5, which includes an arcade stick, deluxe T5 box, and a DVD case to hold the whole Tekken collection, if you have it (nice marketing technique).
And since I already have Tekken 1 at home, just gotta get 2, 3, 4, and Tag...
Once when I'm done paying some bills, I'm definitely going to pick up this game. I didn't have time to play against another live player, but the learning and difficulty curve of the single player "Story Mode" are pretty reputable. The final boss IS a bitch, however, as he tends to use really cheap moves.
Oh, and if you unlock the Kangaroo character, go through his (her?) Story Mode as soon as possible. I was stuck for about an hour on the last boss, but when the ending movie for the Kangaroo played, it was 100% worth it.
