You could have grounds for wrongful termination, but it depends on the laws locally. Like in Utah where I'm at the state is an "at will" state, which means that I can be fired because it's Tuesday and the boss needs no more reason than that. Conversely I can also quit with no notice and they can't penalize me.
If you haven't given them reason to fire you and your state is not at will then you could possibly sue them on the grounds of discrimination, but it would be very difficult to prove.
