My house is in a constant state of upheaval but I too try to keep the kitchen tidy... It is the one room that is in constant use that can't afford to be chaotic or dirty. I leave the bathroom cleaning to my wife...
I hate cleaning the bathroom... she hates cleaning the kitchen. It's just another reason we work so well together.
