you can plea "nolo" or and Alford plea, which basically lets them treat you like you pled guilty, except that you do not legally admit guilt...you just say that you are not contesting the charges. or, you could ask the prosecutor to plea it out with the caveat that it does not go to your record, or is taken off in a few years if you have no further charges.
