And that pretty much sums it up for me.
However, I will add that "back in
my day", I'd have gotten sent to the principals office, and a wooden paddle would've been laid across my ass. Fear? Oh, yeah. But well tempered with a healthy dose of respect. That is something that I find almost completely lacking these days...respect.
I do not like that the police found it
necessary to handcuff a five year old little girl. And yes, I do believe that it was necessary. Perhaps "Mom" should be arrested on multiple counts of child endangerment (how many other kids were in her daughter's class) for turning that little hellion loose on them.
Oh, and by the way, "Mom" was an
hour away? What the hell is that?
