The most perfect one I ever saw was perfectly straight, not very dark and about 10 inches long and(making a fist here), maybe 2 inches +/- thick(top to bottom)?. Head wasn't overly larger, just enough so to give it that profile. That's the technical end of the response.
The personal side of the response, one that's attached to a terrific owner. That's not necessarily the one who's on the other end of above visual.
