Nah, we were probably under the impression that danes spoke danish.

Though if you asked a general aussie what they thought of the danish they'd probably say "I love those things, they're all sweet and breadlike. I have 'em with coffee."

I was wondering if you went on holidays with them. As I said, you know more about their trip than I do about my last one!

We speak strayen. It's not officially recognised as a language, but I'm sure there's some guidelines up on the web.

Here's a starter:

Abbreviate everything.

Examples:
Underwear: Undies
Vegetables: Vegies
Cigarettes: Ciggies
Football (rugby in other countries, victoria): Footy
Petrol: Petty
Carburettor: Carby
Barbeque: Barby
Anyone's name with two syllables or more (ie, stuart, Andrew): Stuey, Andy. (Nancy is, err, Nancy.)
