Requiem for a Dream: 9/10
Absolutely loved requiem. the music was perfect, the acting was second to none, and the impact of the event in the movie was tremendous.
Ichi the Killer: 3/10
Bored the entire time. the special effects had their high points, along with their low-points. the plot was too simple, but then got kinda convoluted at the end. the character of Ichi was not at all what i expected, and actually annoyed the shit out of me. i've read that it's one of the most disturbing movies ever, but i was not impressed. requiem disturbed me more than ichi, and had a great story accompanied by acting.
A Clockwork Orange: N/A
i was tired as hell so i ended up falling asleep about 40 minutes into it. i don't know if i can force myself to watch the rest, though. i was waiting for something entertaining or thought-provoking to occur during the first 40 minutes, but, alas, nothing.
