"The Walking Dead" deals with those people and it's one of the few comic books I read anymore.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out sample pages on Amazon about a week ago after reading your post and knew I had to get my hands on a copy of the first collection of the comic book. I didn't want to wait for Amazon, so finally tracked it down at a store in town today. Just finished The Walking Dead Vol. 1: Days Gone Bye and can't wait to read the next collection.
