NASCAR fan general discussion thread
This thread is for NASCAR fans to post reactions to current Craftsman, Busch, and Nextel series. It's about the current scene, news, race results, drivers, rules, any old thing that relates to the phenomenon that is NASCAR, from a fan's viewpoint.
To start off, I see the new rules changes for this year affecting the race results quite a bit. The veterans are having some hard times adjusting to the new tires and spoilers and there's a new winner every week. I suppose it's good for the broadcast ratings but it's a bit unnerving at this point. Of course, everyone's supposed to be under the same restrictions and driver skill, race readiness, and luck are still the most important components.
How do you see things shaking out so far?
