Let's call this show what it is. It's really just the American Karaoke contest put on TV with a loudmouth arse as one of the lead judges. I've seen bits of the show on a few occasions and it was always the same. Some poor schlep who's friends tell them they have a shot go up there and get ripped apart by Simon and the other judges. From hearing people talk about it that's mostly why it would appear they tune in in the first place. For those that have the talent to compete on the karaoke stage...meeeh...it's not enough to keep me interested. Throw in a good sex scandal now...that's a different story
J/K. I still won't watch the show because there will always be something better on ESPN even if it's soccer.
